On Wednesday, January 17, BoomX Cannabis Company of Shirley, MA presented a check for $1,000 to local food pantry, Loaves & Fishes. During the month of December, the recreational dispensary ran a promotion called Stuff a Stocking. For every stocking sold, BoomX pledged to donate half the proceeds to Loaves & Fishes.
“Loaves & Fishes depends upon the generosity of our community to continue our mission of providing our neighbors with nutritious groceries,” said Executive Director, Patricia Stern. “Our business donors like BoomX truly make a difference to many local families who are struggling.”
When dropping off the check, BoomX Cannabis CEO, Anthony Cardillo, joined Executive Director Stern on a tour of the impressive facility that provides essential support to the local community.
“We’re so grateful to our generous customers for making this promotion a success and allowing us the opportunity to make such a substantial donation to Loaves & Fishes,” said BoomX Cannabis CEO, Anthony Cardillo. “Giving back to our community is really important to us and we’re proud to present this check today.”
